EXPERIENCE

  • (2019-present) Co-editor, Locust Review. As co-editor, I assess submissions and choose, as part of the editorial collective, what we want to print.

  • (2020-present) Co-host, Locust Radio. As a co-host, I take part in the preparation of some of the research and creation of show notes to prepare for various episodes. I also am one of the three voices of the show. We have covered a wide range of topics from cryptids and monsters as symbols in literature and culture to the early hold communism once held on science fiction and the nascent concept of fandom that grew around it.

  • (2022-present), Writer and Artist, Born Again Labor Museum. In March of 2022, my partner Adam and I opened the Born Again Labor Museum (BALM), a rotating museum of art for and about the working class. We collaborate on paintings and sculptures. Adam is primarily an artist and I am primarily a writer. However, we influence one another and often end up working together on pieces. Often, Adam’s work will inspire written work from me and vice versa.
